Expect this beer to cascade effervescent into your glass. The rich spicy clove and cinnamon notes will greet your nose while sweet fruit and wheat kisses your lips.
Lick the foam from your mouth and admit sometimes you just gotta get up and dance.

12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a slightly cloudy dark gold with a finger of white head. Aroma of wheat and clove with a hint of banana. Taste is medium sweet. Wheat and banana with clove and spices. Light bodied with a thin texture. Lively carbonation and a very long finish. Overall, awesome. Another great New Glarus brew.

Bottled. Hazy golden color, short head. Aroma of banana, hint of clove, grapefruit. Quite bitter, bit sweet. Bit too bitter for the style, but i like the combination. Nice stuff.

Super hazy golden coloured body with a soapy, dense tan head about 5 centimetres tall. Aroma of wheat, corn, yeast, hay, grass and a good coriander seed freshness. Medium to Full-bodied; Great wheat flavour with strong hay, coriander seed, curacao, a pleasant sweetness and a bit of lemons come through. Aftertaste is very clean, with a dry note, but very refined and refreshing. Overall, a very nice beer - great to sample and superb for summer - I wish I could get this regularly! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Trig’s Cellar 70 in Minocqua, Wisconsin on 28-July-2012 for US$1.65 sampled at home in Washington on 19-August-2012.

Bottle from trade with a dude from BA. Massive white head. Nose of banana, a bit of bubblegum. Sweet malt as well. Taste is fantastic! Wheat, banana, lemon citrus, cloves & spices. A nice mild spiciness’ to make it pop. Very good mouthfeel, Medium and well carbonated. A slight alcohol warmth in the finish. This is the best American Hefeweizen I have ever had. If you like wheat beers, you will be hard pressed to find a better one brewed in the U.S.A.

And in this corner is the Wisconsin Walloper (Dancing Man Wheat) weighing in at 7.2% and in the other corner the Bavarian Bomber (Weihenstephaner Hefe Weiss) weighing in at 5.4%. I had these beers back to back and rated accordingly. Refrigerated bottle poured into a weizen glass complements of cbfobes. Pours cloudy golden with big white head that dies down some. Aroma is clove, highly carbonated, slick texture, and great lacing. Taste is estery malt (mostly clove, some banana, and a hint of cinnamon). This is hands down the heavy weight champion of american hefeweizens, but weihenstephaner edges out this beer in my book.
