Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet wheaty with light notes of banana and other fruits, as well as hints of plastic. The flavor is sweet malty and wheaty, combined with notes of banana and oranges, as well as notes of bread, leading to a slightly bitter and dry wheaty finish.

12 fl oz bottle thanks to brewfiend. Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Clean wheat aroma. Banana and slight bubblegum wheat flavour, medium sweet and dry. Dry wheaty finish, very nice and flavourfull and clean. Very nice surprise, crisp and clean.

Hazy medium-orange body, thick off-white to buff head. Strong estery nose of clove and banana. Estery body highlighting clove with lighter banana notes, giving way to a tangy, wet hay wheat kick. Good balance of the yeast and malt elements; I love how the esters hit the palate immediately but fade away to the tangy malt and nose-tingling alcohol. Smooth, complex, and refreshing, another winner from this fine brewery.

a good beer to be sure, but beyond a doubt the weakest of the last four wheat beers (Solstice, Black Wheat, Copper Kettle). It doesn’t look as good as the others. no visible sediment, and more dark gold than orange like Solstice. Still a good looking beer, tall white but thin and quickly fading head on top. The aroma is full and vibrant. It has sugar, banana, light citrus, and wheat. Unfortunately the alcohol is noticeable in the aroma, and detracts slightly from the beer overall. Flavor is very sweet, fine for a wheat beer. Thick mouthfeel, but again to compare to solstice, not as sweet and full as that beer. Wheat and sugar, fruit including banana, and again, just a hint of alcohol in the flavor. This beer is definitely a success and quite good, but New Glarus has a made a better hefeweizen.
