Imperial stout aged in bourbon barrels and finished with coconut, caramel, and Mostra-roasted coffee.

Cool Your Jets is a barrel-aged reminder that the all-gas, no-brakes lifestyle isn't our only option. Here we’ve tempered our finished Continuous Ignition base with a direct injection of fresh coconut to create a soft, silky, sipper — something to slow down with and chew through.

This base combination of double and single mash rye imperial stout recipes were aged in a blend of Four Roses, Heaven Hill, Bernheim, Henry McKenna, and Old Fitzgerald barrels for a rich and robust complexity.

Vietnam Lotus and Guatemala Santa Rosa coffee beans were selected by our own Jasper Gallardo and expertly roasted by our friends at Mostra Coffee, lending decadent flavors of dark chocolate, butterscotch, and honey-roasted almonds to the swirls of sweet caramel that finished the Continuous Ignition release.

The coconut addition serves as a cooling agent for the base beer’s caramel sweetness, further elevating the remarkable coffee selection and imbuing the liquid with a rich waffle cone-roundness.

Bottle at home. Small brown head. Aroma is malts, sweetness, oak, light coffee, red fruit notes, coconut. Hmm too much for my liking.
