We always have fun using adjuncts to accent big stouts, but we absolutely love these beers served straight up with only a barrel treatment. This beer stands out with a complexity that only time, patience, the highest quality ingredients and the freshest barrels can give. We hope you enjoy it with loved ones over the holidays!

Dark brown colour, close to black, not much head to talk about. Aroma of alcohol, tar, cacao. Full bodied, intense flavour of burnt sugar, with tar, and some cacao; sweet but not syrupy; strong bourbon and alcohol warmth. Intense.

12oz (thx, Chris S.!) on Alex's porch. Appearance: very dark brown with a weak brown head. Aroma: charred oak, sweetness, chocolate. Taste: along the same lines, quite thick. Overall: very nice and balanced.

355ml can @ Pien, Helsinki. Intense barrel notes, bourbon, vanilla, oak and wood, some sweetish syrupy notes, roastiness and coffee.
