Cask at the Watford Beer Festival 2013. Poured a clear copper colour with no head. Aroma of grass, caramel and floral hops. Toffee sweetness in the initial flavours with some light grass and stale malt. Finish was herbally with some brown sugar and grain.

Medium white head. Clear amber body with light carbonation. Strawy caramelly aroma with spicy papery notes. Dry-sweet caramelly toffee taste with dry straw and spice notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy, oily mouthfeel. Dryish mealy caramelly aftertaste with strawy fruity notes. Nice, drinkable, and full of flavour. Has the feel of a much heavier beer. (0.5l bottle, from Clarkeโs, Whitby.)

Bottle 500ml.Clear light to medium yellow amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, straw, toated - caramel, dusty malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, malty, fruity, light sweet malt, borring ! Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20111211]
