Unspoken is our non-adjunct BA Stout series.
"Blend #2 consists of the following barrels:
• 40% - Imperial Stout aged for 37 months in a Rye Whiskey barrel
• 40% - Imperial Stout aged for 36 months in a Heaven Hill barrel
• 20% - Unspoken Blend #1, 12 months in Rye Whiskey barrels
A beautiful harmony between an intense oak character and a complex base beer. Expect a medium-thick bodied oaky Imperial Stout with notes of chocolate, dark caramel, rye bread and subtle dark fruit and roast. Vanilla, cinnamon and intense, yet gentle charred oak.
Please store cold and drink fresh! Optimal serving temperature is around 15°C."

375ml bottle at tasting.
POured pitch black in color, espresso head.
Heavy barrel aroma. Wood, whiskey in aroma. Wood, soy sauce, sweetness, booze. Heavy sipper.

Fairly thick, boozy, mildly roasty. Chocolate, malty, rye whisky, oak, rich and smooth. Excellent.

Smooth, sweetish soft and intense with chocolate saucy bourbony barrel notes, some oaky woodiness, hints of oily salty licorice, vanilla, cocoa and roasty rye notes. Complex and balanced slow sipper. Nice.
