Rotbox offering via Papsœ. Thanks ! Pours a deep brown appearance with a thin brown head. Aroma is char/tar, lots of anise, and some smoke. A little bit of sweetness in the flavor. Burnt, smoky flavor. Some dark fruits. Fig and dates. Lots of anise. Probably waited a bit too long on this one but it’s ok.

Aroma has licorice, some brown sugar and hints of berries. Flavour is somewhat sweet with slightly salty licorice, some brown sugar, berries and hints of herbs. A bit weird stout, but not bad.

Bottled 500ml (vPBF)
Dark brown color, small steady beige head. Sweet licorice aroma. Medium-bodied. Burned malty flavor, hints of tobacco and licorice. A bit rough but decent.

Bottled@vPBF2012. Close to black colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is coffee, roasted malts, some mild spicyness. Flavour is toffee, roasted malts, coffee, liquorice and some quite pleasant spicyness.

Pours dark brown, almost black, with a foamy light brown head. Aroma of roasty malts, vanilla, licorice, some hints of chocolate and coffee. Slightly roasty taste with notes of vanilla, licorice and chocolate. Roasty and fruity finish with hints of vanilla. Nice, quite tasty stout.

Bottle. dark brown colour with a tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, coffee. Flavour is roasted malt, smoked, fruit, coffee, hop, chocolate. Medium to full body. Nice beer.

[Thanks to fonefan]. 50cl bottle. Black coloured with a tan head, dense, decent lasting, creamy. Aroma has toasted malts notes and slightly hoppy. Flavour is toasty, moderate burnt, bittery. Smooth and creamy on palate. The final is strong bittery with a good persistence. Carbonation is medium. Body is medium to high.

50cl bottle [bottle from trade with Fonefan] @ home shared with Dutchdrebus. Pitch black color, huge light brown head that lasts for awhile and leaves fair lacing. Smell malts, some roastyness and chocolate. Taste malts, lightly roastyness, lightly chocolate, lightly coffee-bitter hints. Medium body, medium carbonation.

Bottle thx to benzai and fonefan. Pitch black, opague colour with a full, big brown head. Smells coffee, dark chocolate, sweet and nice. Tastes chocolate mostly. Slightly bitter, some roastyness, some coffee. Full body for its abv, nice carbo.
