Tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours transparent gold, towards amber, with no foam. Aroma is vinous, earthy, resinous. Body is average, with scarse carbonation. Taste is medium sour, a hint of sweetness too. Final is average, with a hint of astringency.

On tap at Ebenezers, Crewe. Pours a dark orange with no discernable head. Berry fruits and herbs in the aroma, plus an underlying saltiness. Autumn fruits and coriander to the fore in the mouth, with traces too of melon and lychee. Overall texture is slightly salty and there is a dry finish. Interesting – more mainstream (i.e. less salty) than I expected.

(Bottle) Amber colour with brief, foamy, white head. Fruity, spicy nose with notes of apricots, flowers, coriander, lemon, a touch of cloudberries and Earl Grey tea. Fruity, spicy taste with apricots, lemon peel, coriander, pink grapefruit and a finish with a slight tartness and hardly any bitterness. A light salty touch emerges after a while. Medium body, dry. Tasty, refreshing and well balanced gose, but it could do with a touch more salt. Nice one.
