Wunderbar goldgelb leuchtend und gekrönt mit einem kräftigen schneeweißen Schaum erstrahlt das Weihnachtsbier von Gold Ochsen und steigert die freudige Erwartung auf den ersten Schluck. Ein hopfenaromatischer Geruch mit dezenten floralen Tönen und angenehmen Malznuancen steigt in die Nase. Im Antrunk ist die Bierspezialität vollmundig und würzig und überzeugt durch eine angenehmene Rezenz. Das Brauwasser aus dem eigenen Tiefbrunnen gibt dem Weihnachtsbier seinen ganz besonderen Charakter. Tettnanger Aromahopfen und verschiedene Malzsorten harmonieren darin und sorgen im Nachtrunk für Ausgewogenheit und Balance.

Bottle. Clear gold with an ok white head. Aroma and taste of grains, cereals, minerals and earthy hops with a little bit of spice. Moderate bitterness. Medium to strong carbonation. Basic but solid.

Fläschle (Dank am See!): Golden, a bit unclear, smaller foamy layer, sweetish malty-grainy nose, illusions of herbal hops underneath; mild to moderate sweetish flavour, bitterness is quite low, almost medium bodied; shorter finish, presenting the same flavours as the aroma. Not unpleasant, just a bit one-dimensual...

bottle from local Edeka. Surprisingly pale golden yellow with a tall white head. Malty nose and flavours dominate, shy hoppy finish. Well balanced, nice one.

Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, toasted, sweet malt, light caramel, almond notes, moderate hoppy, grass - hay.
