Bottle. Pours cloudy very dark brown with creamy, stable light tan head. Clear aroma of malt, caramel, nuts, and chocolate, with touches of coffee. Bitterish, roasty onset, complemented by sweet notes of chocolate and caramel malt. Touches of coffee beans. Roasty aftertaste with sweetish hints. Discreet but warming alcohol presence. Well-balanced and very enjoyable.

Das extra starke Guinness kennt man nicht unbedingt. Aber sollte man es einmal bekommen, kann man sich freuen. Es ist ein vollmundiges Stout mit ordentlich Tiefgang. Aromatisch und ordentlich schwarz.

Smooth malty, sticky beginning. The beer is malty-roasty. Intense with hints of sourness. The aftertaste is stick and bitter, nice round, intense, great!

Zwart bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is rokerig en bitter gelijk een gewone Guinness, echter deze is wat zachter en minder scherp dus nog beter. Uitstekend bier. Etiket is gewijzigd.

Black with very nice light brown creamy head that leaves a small layer of foam with some big bubbles. Light fruity with some berries and strawberry candy, roasted nuts, light coffee, biscuits and cookies. Light sweet with roasted bitter finish. Nice creamy feel. Worlds apart from the disgusting draught.

Pours cloudy dark brown with a minimal tan head (less prominent than with an average Guinness). The aroma contains roasted malt, yeast, barley, chocolate and roasted coffee. It tastes medium to heavy bitter and light caramel-like sweet. Long, roasted finish with a bit of alcohol. Full body, oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Might be a bit too harsh in the toasty character. (Edited 26/7/17)
