Black with quick fading head. Aroma has wood, alcohol and sweet whiskey. Flavour is very dry. Not so much of the expected bourbon sweetness.

7 3 8 3 15Draft at Nederlandse Bieren Festival, Delft ’17. Dark brown with a bubbly ring beige head. Aroma of boozy whiskey barrel, oak, caramel, light chocolate, vanilla and toffee. Flavour is heavy sweet. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap at NBF Delft. Dry dark brown with lots of big brown bubbles for a head. Red wine, some tannins, licorice, roasted grains, grape skins, bitter herbs, soft dry oak. Just medium sweet and medium bitter. Over medium bodied with low carbonation.

Tap at Nederlandse Bieren Festival Delft. Black with bubbly tan head. Sweet roasted dark malts, boozy whiskey notes. Big sweet and medium bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation.

van tap @Utrechtse Bierbrouwers Festival 2017, donker bruin met licht bruine kraag. aroma en smaken van geroosterde en gebrande mouten, chocolade, zacht, vanille, matig zoet, bourbon, alcohol, glad, wat poeder achtige cacao, best ok, wel vrij stevig, niet al te dik qua textuur.

Draft @ UBF 2017. Black color. Frothy beige head. Aroma’s: bourbon, roast, umami. Retronasal it’s bourbon, vanilla, sweetish. Flavor is moderate sweet, moderate bitter, woody. Medium bodied. Long finish, rather bitter, roasty.
