Sample at the brewpub. Clear bronze color with a medium thin off-white head that recedes steadily to a dense film. Small patches of lace. Aroma of coffee, malt and chocolate. Medium body with flavors of roast coffee, chocolate malt and mild earthy hop. The finish is sweet with a roasty coffee aftertaste. Decent overall.

keg at the brewery... golden amber.. thin white lacing.. soft sweet caramel chocolate.. light coffee nose.. big sweet chocolate Roast.. big coffee
