Vielen Dank an Erzengel! Trübe orangegoldene Farbe, fingerbreite leicht beige Schaumkrone. Geruch nach reifem Obst, sehr malzig, wenig hopfig. Geschmack bitter hopifg, dann kommen die reifen Früchte, bzw Obst, leicht alkoholisch, für das Alter noch gut trinkbar!

Old bottle, best before 03.2012. Dark cloudy and yellow in the glass. The beer starts smooth and malty. Quite bitter-sweetish. Easy to drink with a round but sweetish body. Not too bitter, a bit more in the aftertaste which harmonises nice with the sweetish-malty ground-taste. Hints of Heller-Bock aroma, fresh, bitter, round but a bit too sweet.

Bottle @ Too many Geuze’s - only one toilet , Ulfborg 2012. Hazy orange color with white head that doesn’t last long. Aroma of citrus (very surprising knowing it is a duckstein), fruity, ripe peach. Taste is sweet at first with a bitter and sticky finish. Possitively surprised by this one !

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of Enjoyit. Pours a cloudy opaque amber with a creamy, lacing off-white head. Lovely hoppy aroma, but in spite of the supposedly American hop bill it somehow manages to smell more grassy and German. Solid malt base, a sweet fruitiness and then a massive dose of hops leaving a very decent and mouthdrying hop bite. Top fermented but somehow comes out as a hoppy - very hoppy - Bock. But a pleasant surprise indeed. Thanks Svenne! 210112
