Rabbie’s Porter is brewed using Challenger & Pioneer Hops from the U.K. with Maris Otter, Dark Crystal and Chocolate Malts to produce this multi award winning Porter.

Cask at the 23rd Watford Beer Festival 2017, Watford, Herts. A dark brown coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Hazlenut, chocolate, coffee on the nose. Tastes similar, hazelnut, chocolate, coffee, some dark fruit too. Nice porter.

Cask gravity at the Watford beer festival 2017. Nice reddy, mahogany brown coloured pour with a loose dirty tan head. Aroma is nice roasty nuts, vanilla, dark cake. Red berries. Flavour is composed of rusty penny, metallic, cakey malts.. Tangy malts.

Gravity cask at Rail Ale ’16, 20/05/16. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a decent tan cap. Nose is light roast, chocolate, spice, dark fruit shreds. Taste comprises earthy roast, dark toffee, bitter cocoa, raisens, light charr. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Decent enough porter.

A quite nice and easy drinkable porter. Opaque black color with a tan head. Ok lacing down the sides of the glass. Mild coffee, roasted and some chocolate. Medium body and a soft carbonation. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness.

Cask at The Scottish Real Ale Festival 2014. Pours dark brown, no real head. Aromas of chocolate, dark sugar. Taste is more of the same, decent enough.

Cask at the NWAF, Derby ’14. Dark brown pour with a light tan head. Dark roast coffee and chocolate aroma. Heavy coffee flavour. More of a stout feel to it. Dry roast finish.
