500ml bottle from Beers of Europe, bought under the mistaken idea that I’d be ticking off another country. But no. Thanks Shepherd Neame! "Only the finest Swiss yeast". What does that actually mean? I don’t imagine the Swiss are overrun with yeast strains for lager fermentation to choose from. Bottle is also now 4.8%, no doubt due to "commercial pressures" aka cost-cutting. It’s a pishy lager.

On tap @ The Marked Inn, Faversham. Clear golden body with a firm white head. Aroma is light grainy with German type hops. Not so much flavor here, light grainy and boring hops. Thin body and little aftertaste. Boring lager.

Bottle shared at the ChrisO Flags of Many Nations Easter Tasting 2013 - London. Pours perfectly clear gold with a fine, bubbly white head. Papery cereal nose, light dough. Faint doughy and lightly sugary flavor. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Mild straw to finish, further dough, paper. A bit of oxidation has taken place here. Not great overall.
