Reichenbrander Classic Pilsner, Flasche vom Fristo-Getränkemarkt, Chemnitz. - Goldgelb, klar. - In der Nase unangenehm schweißig-muffige Hopfennote, wohl vom Hopfenextrakt. - Mild zitronig-hopfiger Antrunk, nett aber ohne Überraschungen. In der Mitte zitronig-fruchtig und etwas malzsüß aber ohne Bittere, wie Zitronenlimonade. - Abgang nur mild bitter und immer noch etwas süß. - Nettes aber nicht aus dem Rahmen fallendes, etwas zu süß-limonadenähnliches Pilsener ohne ausgeprägte Hopfenaromen. Leider nur mittelmäßig. Für den muffigen Hopfenextrakt gibt's noch Punktabzug. (9.8.2014.)

Bottle 500ml. @ home.Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay. straw, malt, toasted, sweet malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, malt, straw - hay. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120111]

bottle. Clear pale yellow, large and creamy head. Full-bodied, malty quite hoppy. Flowery and resiny hops, well-balanced. Low carbonation and pleasant mouthfeel. Lingering hoppy finish with hints of herbs and hay.

The bottle looks like a cheap beer. The beer in the glass is not much better. Very zippy, but the foam is fast collapsing. Flavor sourish, in the end really penetrating. Not a good beer.

Schmeckt relativ mild, läuft am Gaumen vorbei ohne besonders aufzufallen. Der Nachgeschmack ist kaum vorhanden, sehr wässrig. Zum genießen brauch man ein anderes Bier. Test vom 11.12.2004, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,7,8,6,11,8 - 7,80
