Cask. Black colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is roasted malts, some ashes, mild dark ripe fruit with some slight berries and toffee as well. Flavour is ashes, roasted malts, some berries and mild chocolaty/coffeeish notes as well. Quite pleasantly balanced porter.

Bottle. Near black in colour with no head. Aroma of dark fruit, milk chocolate and a touch of roasted malts. Flavour had plenty more fruit, some caramel and a dryish finish. A bit thin bodied, but ok.
