Bottle at home in London. Pours crystal clear pale gold, effervescent, with a moderate, pure white foam head. Some grainy malt in the nose, hints of sugar, light cereal. Not getting that pilsener zip I would hope for. Sweet flavor, plenty of cereal, very faint bitterness. Light bodied with high carbonation. There’s a touch more hop bite in the finish, but it’s pretty weak. A bit more sugar, cereal, hints of straw - which is good! - and just a nip of citrus zest. Not an excellent pilsener, but a good beer to drink for refreshment.
