Can you taste that hop oil slithering down the back of your throat? Can you smell that intense lupulin blast from the bottom of your glass? We turned the volume up to 10 and broke the speaker, our loudest beer buried in a mound of hoppy goodness. Think wet tropical grass, pineapple and mango freshness all crammed into this self-proclaimed hop bomb.

Clear blond beer, small creamy white head, unstable, dissipates quickly, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: some tropical fruits, pretty soapy, bit funky, lots of orange peel. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sweet, spruce, bit oxidized, hoppy touch, pretty bitter, resinous hops. Aftertaste: bitter finish, tropical fruits, resinous, very bitter, some citrus, bit oxidized, rather soapy finish, medicinal bitterness.

Keg at the 2019 Leicester Beer Festival. Golden yellow, clear with a thin layer of white head. Sweet aroma: lemon meringue, marshmallow and honey. The initial sweet creamy taste is beaten down by a heavy hoppy bitternesa. Soft to medium carbonation. Nice.

Growler. Pours a clear gold with little head. Aroma is hoppy and fruity, with quite a lot of pine. Juicy and fruity with classic grapefruit aromas and some sweet orange. Light to medium body. Malty sweetness with a bit of a bite to it, makes me think of rye. Malt makes this feel almost like a NEIPA but the hopping is more like a classic west coast IPA. Really lovely. Hops flavours of grapefruit and orange with strong pine needle and some resin flavours. Really great IPA.

Quite clear yellow pour, some white foam but not really much. Nose is fresh, citric and fruity. Kind of raw and has this mango character. Tastes easygoing, dank, hoppy and medium bitter, quite juicy and well, overall pretty easy-drinking. I do like this, tasty and satisfying.

Keg at BD TH, 10/10/18. Golden orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is orange pith, toasted malts, lemon sherbet, citric tinged straw. Taste comprises bitter orange, toasted grains, grassy, light pine tingle. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying spiked with grassy hop bitterness. Ok easy drinking IPA.
