Bottled
Dark, almost opaque, brown color, small off-white head. Iron, vegetables, toasted malts in the nose. Thin. Toasted malty, a bit sweetish, some vegetables. Not much bitterness. Boring stout.

Courtesy of Degarth. Pours dark brown with thin tan head. The aroma is musty lactose, roasted malts, 90L crystal malts and not much else. Overall the aroma is pretty light and is tough to really pin down. The taste starts with a thin mouth feel sensation bringing in mild tart malt astringency mixed with dusty lactose, roasted malts and faint burnt malts. The after taste leaves mild tart and roasted maltiness.

2009-04-04, "Mange, c’est de la bière!" draught at the brewery, 6-3-6-3-12=30
Black color, small head. Light aroma of roasted malt. Good mouthfeel, quite smooth, with a respectable body strength, with roasted malt flavor only, but well balanced from beginning to end. Quite good.
2009-04-03, bottle from Au Grain d’Orge, Crissier, 5-3-6-3-11=28
Black color; nice head. Light aroma, better flavor; roasted malts and light caramel, correct bitterness. Correct beer, but no thrills.
2005-07-23, 5-3-6-3-11=28
Black color; almost no head. Light bread aroma, very light roasted malt. Light body, light roasted malt, very light sourness. Quite strong, dry, bitter finish (roasted malt). Rough.
