From tap. Pours dark brown with lasting head. Arma is roasted and dark caramelish malt. Smooth dark roasted malty, good bitterness too this.

A deep red beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, metal, caramel, and malt, leading to a dry finish, where the alcohol burns.

Bottle. It pours a dark ruby body, clear, and topped by a small, off-white head. Lots of dried fruits in the aroma, some caramel too, and a hint of alcohol. A hint of something roasted chimes in. Flavorwise it’s much the same, but with a nice orangey touch and some bitterness. Full-bodied and lightly warming, Bitter finish with dried fruits and some alcohol warmth. A quite pleasant one, but it wouldn’t hurt to reduce the ABV a bit. 111105

Bottle @ Ulfborg, Early Winter Tasting, 2011. Pours clear amber with a small creamy white head. Dark fruit, caramel, syrup and sugar. Some lime and a hint of hops. Medium bodied. Sweet and warming. Heavy!

Clear ruby with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, dried fruit and yeasty. Flavor is quite sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish. 051111

Bottle @ FOneFan. Clear dark amber/red with small beige head. Aroma is malt, caramel, fruit and toffee. Flavour is malt, dried fruits, caramel, sweet, toffee, light nutty and notes of alcohol.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is red/brown. Aroma and taste are fruits, malt, caramel and hops.

Bottle @ Home. Pours dark brown with a offwhite head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, brown sugar, sweet dried dark fruit, citrussly hops. Taste is malt, light notes of caramel, english licorice, raisins, citrussly hops, a touch of alchohol. Rather thin bodied, soft carbonation. 281011
