Bottle thanks to Lars - pours dark brown with a small beige head. Oxidisation present as expected, still some pleasing sweet dark malty action, dried fruit and some spiced winter notes.

Sample from 66 cl. bottle. The 2010-version of this beer was horrible, far to much alcohol. LOTS of room for improvement this year. Clear, deep red colour with a thin, tanned head. Sweet aroma with alcohol and caramel malts. The taste is sweet with alcohol, caramel malts and a metallic note. Full body with an oily feel. Finishes sweet and sticky, with a alcohol burn. Much better than last year....

Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Dark red-amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter very nice flavor. Long spicey moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate. This is a good beer, and by far the best willemoes jul ever. I could by several of thees for longtime keeping. (Its not that expensive).

Bottle 70 cl. Pours an almost clear amber with a creamy yellowish/beige head. Fresh, hoppy nose, quite juicy really. Rich caramellish nose with overripe fruit notes and an almost herbal hoppiness. Dry finish with good aroma hops. Excellently crafted, and quite contrary to other raters I don’t find this boozy at all but actually quite balanced. 121111

Clear ruby-chestnut colour with a big and lasting off-white head. Hoppy aroma of citrus and pine with malty notes and a bit of caramel. Dry yet rich malt flavour with toffee, bread crust and biscuit, lots of fruity hops and a firm bitterness. Warming alcohol and hop bitterness lingers. Easily the most daring beer ever in normal production from the brewery.
