SMaSH (Single Malt and Single Hop) sarjan tarkoituksena on esitellä harvinaisempia ja hiukan erilaisia humalalajikkeita yhdistettynä Viking Maltin erittäin laadukkaaseen Pale Ale maltaaseen. Kohatu on trooppisen hedelmäinen ja tuoreen mäntyinen Uudesta Seelannista. 35-50 IBU
The purpose of SMaSH (Single Malt and Single Hop)-series is to introduce rarer and different types of hops to the beer drinkers. This series is combined to the excellent quality Viking Malts Pale Ale malt. Kohatu is a hop released in 2011 in New Zealand with notes of tropical fruits and fresh pine. 25-50 IBU

(Keg at Il Birrificio, 20161022) The beer poured deep golden and lightly hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had kumquat, citricness and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, tangerine, fresh plums, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A different and tasty brew. Surprised.

Tap at OtaOlut, Espoo. Colour is slightly cloudy golden with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Fruits, grass, hops and malts.

Draught @ Ota Olut! Pours orange with a smooth white head. Aroma of grainy malts, fruits and grass. Taste is grainy malty, earthy and fruity with some grass and pine. Finish is crisp malty, grainy and earthy with some grass and fruits. Decent.
