Our take on the nut brown ale is deep brown in color with a nutty, roasted malt character. Light bodied with a dry finish, makes this a great session beer.

Poured into a nonic pint glass, the appearance was a light brown color with a quickly dissipating finger’s worth of white foamy head. Sly lace runs into the beer.
The aroma grabs some earthy, rustic sweet nuts, somewhat roasty with a nice coherent robust coffee bean underneath.
The flavor yields to a blend of earthiness to the sweet. Nice lingering blend of cocoa bean to earthiness running into the aftertaste and a sly quick semi-sweet to roasty finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Smooth malts move finely over my tongue. Low to medium carbonation.
Overall, really nice brown ale that I would love to have again.
