A light bodied mild brown ale with a chocolate aroma and flavor. Manchester's own Van Otis chocolate was used in this beer.

Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a mildly murky brown color with just a film of a white foamy head. No lace.
The aroma had milk chocolate up front, a little bit of dark chocolate and ended with some mild cereal grains.
The flavor leaned towards the sweet side through the dark and milk chocolates. Aftertaste and finish were the same.
The feel was light bodied and fairly sessionable. Carbonation was good. ABV was fine.
Overall, not a stout, not a porter, not a brown ale, just a straight up chocolate ale. I think I remember having something similar to what Boulevard brewed several years ago when I lived in their distribution.

on tap-pours a rocky tan head with cloudy brown color. Aroma is chocolate, malt. Taste is chocolate, dark malt, hint of lime. Interesting, well done. Occasional. OK carbonation.
