Inspired by the OG pilsner, we utilized an enhanced decoction mash using Bohemian pilsner malt, leaving the beer with a higher level of sweetness to balance the massive charge of Czech Saaz hops.

Golden colour, thick foam. Herbaceous hop nose. On the palate, good pilsner. Rich bitterness. Nice biscuity malt base. Laurel leaf, grass, lemon, sage, some really good subtle elements here.

On tap at Luppolo, pours a clear golden with a large white head. Aroma is restrained, with light spicy grassy hops, straw, and a touch of biscuity malt crispness. Flavour reveals the nice spicy hop bite from the Saaz, with a crisp crackery malt base. Nice Saaz hopping here—they didn’t skimp. Crisp and biting finish. Good stuff.

6oz pour at the brewery. Pours clear gold with a foamy white head. Biscuit malts on the nose. Flavour has biscuit malts, dried grass, and a crisp hoppy bite on the finish. Very nice.
