Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a cloudy opaque reddish brown with a beige head. Heavy star anise in the nose. Medium body, sweet dark dried fruits, lots of spices and a warming alcohol in the finish. Very Belgian and very spicy. 261111

Bottle. It pours a hazy, dark brown body and a small, light beige head. Spiced nose with dried fruits and a yeasty touch. Bitterness, spicyness, dried fruits and a touch of yeast in the flavor. Some licorice. Dried fruits, spices and some bitterness in the end. Full body and pleasant carbonation. Far from bad this one, but it’s not the most interesting Christmas beer I’ve had. 111126

Bottle @ Early Winter season 11/12 Part. 3, Ulfborg. Pours cloudy amber with a small off white head. Spice hell. Anis and berries. Medium bodied. Dry finish with a warming alcohol sensation.

50 cL bottle from Wohlenberg, Sønderborg. Pours hazy dark brown with a light tan head. Aroma is light yeasty, dark malty and distinct annis seed. Flavour has annis seed stright up front, bit hidden juniper. Dark malty and light sweet. Not that different from the 2010 version imho.

Draught. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy and moderate yeasty aroma. Moderate bitter nice fruity flavor with nice cinnamon notes. Average moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate.

Tap @ Halloween beer & jazzfestival. Nice head with good duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are yeast, caramel, anis, spices, orange notes and hops.
