(Draught at Barhop, Sept 19 2013) Pours a cloudy dark gold, whisp of a white head, no lace. Aroma is quite punchy, a combination of citrus hops, tart and funky Brett yeast character and a bit of pale malt. Flavour lets the Brett work well, somewhat funky from the off but with bright citrus hop character and probably some Brett contribution to the fruit as well. A little bit of grass/hay to it later on, and it also picks up more of a tart farmhouse quality which is offset by decent levels of bitterness from the hops. Finishes bitter with a sour/tart edge. Body medium, carb medium and effervescent. Pretty complex, quite tasty farmhouse, Brett really works well here but doesn’t take over the beer. I really like it.

I think I remember liking the regular Deliverance better. This one’s a little unbalanced. Pours cloudy blond with minimal lacing, no head and low carbonation. Some brett in taste but doesn’t integrate well with the hay and yeast. Finishes sour and bitter. On tap at Barhop.
