We all had to start somewhere. It just so happens that our Brewing Ambassador jumped into better beer when red ale was THE THING. So, here it is. Oozing with toffee-ish, bready Munich and Crystal Red Rye malt, and tempered by select American hops for a taste like many others, Mid-90s Microbrewery Red Ale is the beer you didn’t know you were missing.

Dark brown with a huge foamy tan head that lingered. Roughish with strong pine, light fruit and malt. Long finish. Medium body.

Poured an amber color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was caramel malt, toffee. However, it's not as malty as I expected it to be given the era. Probably due to fresh hops and not the earthy, boring hops that would probably have been used during that era and into the mid 00s. Like a warm hug to when I first started getting into craft. Really enjoyed this one.
