Our lightest beer, made from 100% malted barley. This blonde lager is what sailors really swam to shore for; it’s light, with very little bitterness and a slight malt finish.

Golden coloured body with a thin white head and a fairly clear tint. Aroma of pale malt, a touch of sweetness and an even smaller amount of hops. Light-bodied; Sharp malt notes dominate the flavour with a little sweetness and a touch of metal and bitterness at the end. Aftertaste has a very slight amount of hops noticeable with a drag on malt and a touch of the metallic bitterness. Overall, not such a great beer - easily the most disappointing from the brewery and the six pack sampler. I sampled this twelve ounce can as part of a six pack sampler, purchased at the Wine Shop in Koloa, Kauai, Hawaii on 07-March-2011 sampled at home in Washington on 09-July-2011.

12 oz can into lager glass. Thanks, Brenn79. Aroma is pineapple, honeyed cornbread, citrus powder drink. Very aromatic for this style--I was expecting blandness. Pours a clear to just slightly hazy gold hue with a thick two-finger head with nice retention. Leaves a constant scrim and collar of foam after a few minutes when it dissipates. Taste is sweet and a little salty. A little fruity and much more interesting than most examples of this style. Medium to high carbonation with a medium body. Extremely quaffable beer made for the beach.
