Our lightest beer, made from 100% malted barley. This blonde lager is what sailors really swam to shore for; it’s light, with very little bitterness and a slight malt finish.

Can at home ... hazy yellow amber ... big short lived white head ... soft lemon ... almost barnyard nose ... juicy lemon front ... no real lageryness ... soft fruits ... actually ok.

Can. A big, off-white head leaving some bubbly lacings, soon reduces into a half-finger thick layer of foam. Quite fruity on the nose, pineapple standing out, with apples, some orange and peach. A little maltyness too, but not much. A quite simple aroma I think, and almost syrup-ish. The flavor is pretty much the same, some bitterness notes. Rather thin and watery on the palate, smooth. Overall, quite boring, but sure drinkable. No need to re-visit though. 111030

Clear yellow, smooth white head, that disappears quickly. sweet malty and sweet hoppy aroma, a bit like a czeck lager. Also dry notes. nice aroma. flavor is malty, sweet malty, slightly bitter malty. not much hops, not enough to create dryness or bitterness. A bit one-dimensional. Malt flavor is quite strong though, so comes off as interesting and with a full flavor.

355ml can. Pours lemon golden with a small head which quickly disappears. The nose has pale malt, and sultanas. The taste has pale malt and honey, but not cloying. The palate is medium in structure and texture with a fairly clean finish. Overall, a decent example but not worth going to the other side of the world for.
