HOW IT TASTES
This modern expression has an auburn glint. Balanced with charming complex flavours that are lightly spiced. The finish is fruity and bitter.
HERITAGE
First introduced to pay tribute to the iconic trademark, which is part of the official crest of the Lacons name. A good honest ale that also fits perfectly with the family's motto, "in integrity is true honour."

Cask gravity at The Bell Ivychurch. Clear mid brown colour lasting beige head. Malty bitter but with enough hop on the finish to make it interesting. Some fruit loaf from the malts. Good best bitter.

Cask at the Red Lion, Histon. Red brown with a large creamy head. Light yeasty smell, slightly metallic. Slight hints of caramel, cinnamon, bay leaves. A smooth fruity bittersweet taste fades to a tenacious bitter in the back of the throat. Very bitter aftertaste. An odd beer but very drinkable. Nice to see a โnewโ brewery rising from the dead.
