Levity was named by our brewers to reflect the lightness of color in this highly drinkable golden amber ale. Extremely refreshing, this is a mild, crisp, hoppy pleasure to consume.

Pleasing orange color, with a small but creamy foamed head. Typical amber ale aroma: a touch of herbal and grassy hop, maybe a touch of citrus, then some caramelized doughy malts. Flavor starts balanced, with a bready malt and a spicy hop. Finishes empty, with a light hopping but almost feeling watery. Nevertheless there’s a pepper in the aftertaste, and an overall clean drinkability to this that saves it from just another boring amber.

This beer came to me in my beer club. I have never heard of the brewer before. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright copper color with a medium size yellow-tan head. The aroma is sour and tangy malts with a light citrus undertone. The mouthfeel is moderately thick. The flavor is tart, tangy and sweet with a grapefruity hop element and a tart and fruity finish. Pleasant and well balanced.

Bottled. Hazy, paleish amber colour with small slightly off-white head. Aroma is caramel, a bit vegetables and grassy hops. Flavour is flowery hops, water and some caramel. Quite standard US Amber Ale.

[Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival] Pale amber. Buttery aroma. A simple little beer with clean, rounded mouthfeel, flavours of unmalted barley, bread and vegetables. Near no bitterness.

Acquired via trade. Pours a light amber color with a thin ohh-white head and mild effervescence. Thin and quick lacing. Aroma is lightly floral hops. Easy-drinking flavor is lightly hoppy with a semi-sweet finish. Not complex at all but a good session beer.
