Levity was named by our brewers to reflect the lightness of color in this highly drinkable golden amber ale. Extremely refreshing, this is a mild, crisp, hoppy pleasure to consume.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear orange with medium off white head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is caramel and resin. Medium body, earthy hop, caramel, light bitter finish, good.

Bottle from StarmoreBoss, shared with Button at Market Rasen races, yesterday. Biscuit sweet. Light caramel. Floral honey. Found this a bit me dimensional. Not my thing.

Nose is caramel, honey, malt. Taste is caramel, honey, a little pear drop; mouthfeel is short. The mouthful is really, appealing silky and rich. It’s a very nice slightly too sweet amber ale.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a clear light amber with a thin frothy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is sweet resin hop, malt and honey. The flavour is medium bitter, light sweet, with a soft sweet toffee caramel, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; clear amber pour with a thin white head, caramel and malt aroma, taste has marzipan some nuttiness, slight resinous hop, flavour combo doesn’t work for me.

Bottle. A- Light fruit, yeasty, apricot, grains. A- Golden orange color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Slightly sweet, balanced, apricots, peaches, light fruits, subtle spices. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, mild finish. O- Not as full as I thought it might be. Granted the description doesn’t lead you to believe it will be, I still had this expectation in my mind. This is a good amber ale but not an exceptional one by any means. Has noticeable sweetness and fruit notes to it, and is sort of crisp, but also a little on the thin side. While I have no complaints, I probably wouldn’t try to seek it out.
