This New American Black Ale, our darkest signature beer, has the malt profile of a Schwarzbier and the floral characteristics of an IPA. Saturated in hops, this intrepid style offers smooth dark toffee flavor without the roasted bitterness.

Bottle at Fin & Loz’s tasting with Jan, Charlotte, Craig, Stella & kids consumed 21.10.11 Jan brought this beer along, cheers Jan! Pours dark brown with a little beige rim for a head. Nicely hoppy but with a pleasant sweetness running through this beer. Cocoa and fresh hops, good stuff, in fact really good stuff, just wish I could have written a better more deserving description.
