Malty up front, showcasing the flavors of Munich malt and caramel, with a decidedly bitter finish. Rich and satisfying.

Reviewed from notes.
On tap at C.H. Evans on 03/03/2018.
Appearance: copper/auburn color with a bar pour's kind of slim white head which quickly slipped off and didn't leave any lace
Aroma: sweet and clean caramel malts with a light dose of cinnamon and allsipce, light scent of leather and a whiff of vanilla
Flavor: melds the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to lightly spiced quality; finishes basically the same way with a touch of dryness and a hint of booze
Texture: almost medium bodied - seemed just a touch under; semi-sessionable; good smoothness and a light dryness
Overall: good Winter Warmer worth coming back to.
