On tap at the brewery. Pours with a hazy copper body with a lasting off-white head. Aromas are flowery, spicy, phenol, malty, hoppy and some vanilla. Flavors are malty, honey/floral, grainy, a bit of peppery phenol. Lively bubbles, dry and good. A bit more malt forward (and yeast clean) than any of the other Funkwerks beers that I have had. Nearly Biere de Garde like in that respect.

on tap-pours an offwhite head with hazy amber color. Aroma is spice/lemon, medium malt. Taste is spice/lemon/grassy hops, light/medium malt, slight yeast. Easy.

Tap at Funkwerks - interesting - like an ofest brewed with saison yeast, so the flavor profile is more like a biere de garde than anything else - malt forward at first - toasty and fairly estery - tartness through the middle leads to a drier, more Biscuity character - the peppery and dusty character of the yeast comes through near the finish - finish is estery, with light earthiness and funk - very good.
