On tap at the brewery. Pours with a clear yellow body and a voracious, white head. Aromas are grassy, funk, peppery, ginger, grassy, malty, bready and phenolic/spicy. Flavors are lightly tarty, pretty subdued yeast character, ginger, bready, orange, somewhat crisp. Lightly grassy. Tasty. Lively bubbles and dry as always! Absolutely excellent session beer (despite my rating numbers, this would be a beer I’d want to drink every day)!

Tap at Funkwerks - more like a cross between a golden ale and a pils, but since they seem to use the same yeast for everything, I suppose the saison designation works - pils malt is showcased well here - smooth and lager-like - chalky a bit through the middle - a bit of spiciness from the yeast - peppery - yeastiness and a bit of perfumey aromatics - dry, biscuity finish - easy drinking and flavorful for something so light.
