Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - golden with a proportionate head which then fades quickly. A slight haze. Nose - honey and cornflakes. Taste - strangely drying and green even though it’s a honey beer. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - don’t like honey beers and thus isn’t a good example.

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours hazy gold, short-lived white head. Aromas of honey and sulphur. Taste is dirty honey, thin, dry sweetness. Too dry.

Bottled 500ml (BB 12/2011)
Served with yeast. Hazy orange color, good white head. Aroma is like in Orval! Horseblankety, honeyish. Light bodied. Flavor is also like Orval! Horseblankety, fruity, peppery, honeyish. Well, I think it was not intended to be like this but I love it!

Bottled (from Beers Of Europe). Golden colour, huge white head. Aroma is spruce, quite acidic and very sour and spicy. Flavour is acidic wood, some spices, and sour and yeastyness. With yeast in it, a very good orval clone... So if you want a good rating, throw in the yeast, just in case it would be infected....

Bottle. A big, dense, off-white head sits on top of a more or less clear, golden body. Rather funky on the nose, lemony and milky, with fruityness and some pale malts. Dry on the palate, and rather effervescent. Lemon and some milky notes in the flavor too, along with citrus peel and a touch of pale malts. Pleasant bitterness too. I’m quite convinced it’s infected, but it has turned out quite successful. Quenching. 111105
