Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a black color with a medium sized creamy tan head that left decent lacing. The aroma was dry, malty and woody. The flavor was dry and woody with a bit of nut, brewed coffee, vanilla and a touch of smoke. Long finish. Medium body. Meh.

@Stoudts Invitational–pours a light brown head and brown color. Aorma is chocolate dark malt, roasty. Taste is chocolate dark malt, roasty, earthy hops.
