Reviewed from old notes.
On tap at Great Lost Bear (winter of 2012)
Served in a pint glass.
The appearance was a jet black color. Bar pour’s head yields no lacing.
The smell had a robust chocolatey coffee aroma.
The taste was pretty much the same.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a crisp sessionable aspect about it.
Overall, not a bad porter at all, but hey, not a stellar one either. Sorry for not uploading this sooner.

on tap-pours a tan head and dark brown color. Aroma is ? I think I am getting citrus? Taste is dark malt-chocolate, secondary earthy hops. Medium body. Fizzy carbonation.

Pours mahogany into a snifter. Head quickly recedes to nothing. Thin, sour coffee flavors. Drain pour.
