12oz bottle-pours a dissipating light brown head and dark red color. Aroma is spice, yeast, medium malt-caramel, medium fruit. Taste is wood/spice/sharpness, medium malt, fruit, acidic. Rated aroma as it came across as an attempt at a Dubbel, taste??? Thanks decaturstevo for picking this out.

This is not starting out well. 12 ounce bottle from the brewery. The first thing I noticed when I opened the bottle was a paint thinner smell. Also some banana and clove notes. The pour was copper colored with a thin head, low head retention and poor lacing. Taste is nutty with apple and banana notes. Alcohol is fairly noticeable.

Thanks to Kinz for kindly donating this after the last Richmond Gathering. Slightly hazy amber color with a thin off-white head. Sweet caramel aroma. Flavor of sweet caramel with some hints of banana.
