Draft @ Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen. Pours a black color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty hoppy grapefruit aroma. Fruity roasted malty hoppy bitter flavor with hints of licorice. Has a roasted malty hoppy bitter finish.

Draught @ Mikkeller Bar, Viktoriagade 8BC, kld., DK-1655 Copenhagen, Denmark.Clear dark brown black colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige to light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, caramel, moderate hoppy, grapefruit. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, dark malt, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20111029]

Draught@Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen (Aug 8th 2011). Quite much black colour, mediumsized off-white to beige head. Aroma is strong fruity notes mixed with ashes and some mild raisins. Flavour is fruity, rather bitter with some slight ashy and wooden notes. Probably nice to those who appreciate Black IPA as a beer style, but I didn’t find it all too enjoyable.

pitch black smooth beige head. Sweet malty and sweet hoppy aroma. Dry. Flavor is hoppy, dark malty, dry, nice black ipa, perhaps a little too watery, would be great in hot weather

Draft. Black beer with a tan head. Grapefruit and pine aroma. Cocolate and pine flavor with light toffee. Medium bodied. Chocolate and pine lingers with light grapefruit and malt.

Draft. A black beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma has notes of chocolate, citrusy hops, and a bit of caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops, lemons, roasted malt, chocolate, and dusty hops. Leading to a quite bitter finish. The body is light.

From tap at MikkellerBar. Pours dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is fruity, dark malty and roasted. Bitter, dark toffee malty, roasted and dry malty to caramelish. Bitter and vague liqourice to dark chocolate touch. Ends dry, roasted and medium bitter.

On tap. Pours an opaque black with a creamy light brown head. Distinct piney aroma, almost resiny. Medium body with sweetish hard roast malt, some coffee notes and a fresh if somewhat dusty citrusy hoppiness. Fairly solid and dry hoppy finish. 070811
