Tap at Artut Östersund. Judging by the reviews this beer had made a comeback almost a decade later. It tasted remakrbaly similar to their APA but dark. Strong meat in the flavour. Pretty decent i must say as most of their latest work! (26/4/20) ----- Rerated at Captain Cook Post factum. A really good example of the style. 3.5 to 3.6.

Smak av tropsik frukt, saknar dock karaktär, torr i smaken med en tydlig grapebeska.

On tap. Pours clear and almost black with a reddish hue and a creamy beige head leaving a neat lacework. Discreet roast aroma and equally discreet citrusy hops. Medium body, lightly sweet roast and dried fruit with a discreet yet present hoppyness. 301011

Draught @ The Rover on October 31. Pours deep brown / black with a light brown head. Smell is coffee, roasted malts and a hint of citrus. Taste is caramel, lightly roasted malts, pine, resin, coffee and grapefruit. A nice beer that suited the food I had.

Draught@SBWF2011. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is berries, alcohol, liquorice and actually not that balanced. Flavour is berries, fruits, some roasted notes as well as some liquorice. Quite standard out-of-balance Black IPA.

(Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival, 30 Sep 2011) Dark brown colour with hints of ruby. Creamy beige head. Hoppy, roasted nose with pine needles, grapefruit and roasted malt. Malty, roasted, hoppy taste with notes of chocolate, roasted malt, pine needles and grapefruit. Medium body, quite dry. Well rounded, tasty and quite balanced, with a generous piney bitterness. Very nice.
