Reviewed from old notes.
At the brewery.
The appearance was a reddish brown color with about a one finger white foamy head that died off within a good minute. Light speckled lacing spider webbed a bit and then fell into the beer.
The aroma had some strawberries with a light breadiness about it.
The taste was the strawberry and the sweet breadiness again.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a light sessionability about it. The carbonation seemed good for the style and to me. There’s a light strawberry / bready aftertaste with a slight watery finish.
Overall, an okay strawberry ale. Would I have it again? Uhmmm...well maybe.

On tap at the brewhouse. Pours a reddish brown with fluffy head. the aroma is of fresh strawberries and yeast. Taste is medium bodied belgian ale. its not overly strawberry but you get just enough. also yeast, cloves, slight barnyard. the 10.5% alcohol comes through a touch at the end. a pint of this to finish my night really put me over the edge into drunk town
