Reviewed from notes.
On tap at C.H. Evans on 11/23/2019.
Appearance: dark red to reddish/brown color with a quarter finger's worth of eggshell white foamy head which settled off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: nice toasty nuts, clean caramel/toffee malts, some breadiness and some earthy hops
Flavor: melds the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet nutty to bready sweetness; finishes bready/malty and a touch of earthiness
Texture: light to medium bodied, very sessionable; good smoothness, good carb level
Overall: I say a good Munich Dunkel lager worthy of returning to.
