Black with a medium sized beige head. Toasty malt with anise, molasses, and hints of cocoa and wood. Very long finish. Moderately full bodied.

Draft at the source. Pours dark brown with a beige head. Oak, funk, tart stone fruit, roasted malt, interesting.

Pour is an almost black with a small tan head. Aroma is a nice dark sugary malt with some vanilla from the oak. Flavor is sweet molasses with some dark fruit and the alcohol is here in a big way. Some oak notes are there but the oak was way more predominate in the aroma. Good oak aged dopple.
