As a permanent beer it will work well alongside an “English” style beer to cover the fundamentally important session (3.5%-4.0%) beer drinkers category on the bar. When stocked like this many Publicans have noted increasing sales and repeat trade built around this beer.
Hophead is pale gold with a fresh zesty hop character. Highlights of orange, lemon and blackcurrant hop notes from a blend of English and American hops.

Cask at CBC, London on 12th April 2013. Clear gold with white film of part-lacing foam. Grassy, hoppy aroma. Hops and berry fruits dominate the in-mouth experience with delicate strawbery note and mildly savoury touches present. Fruity finish with berries and white wine. Light mouthfeel and body.

Cask at Tap East, London. Pours lightly cloudy yellow with a strong, white foam head. Lemony citrus nose, light dough notes. Light sweet flavor, some mellow pale malts, light hay, low bitterness. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Not in top condition. Light sweet finish but in general pretty bland. LIght notes of plastic, some dough. Bland overall; perhaps the beer’s character has been reduced due to poor condition.
