Corked bottle from Chemins de Bretagne, Paris
Tara Cuvée 080826
Measured Final Gravity: 1008

Yellow color, with an old hue. Aroma of Mead, cellar, cork, some oxidisation, alcohol, very light glue. The mouthfeel is semi-dry, and smooth; delicate honey flavor, with woody notes, and pleasant alcohol warmth; quite complex too. Very good.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of fiulijn. Pours a pale yellow. Rustic and lightly tart honey aroma with quite some wood. Full-bodied, almost flat, some fruity and fresh acidity, marzipan, again some woodiness and a discreet honey sweetness. A warming alcohol heat in the finish. Lovely. 020911

Bottled. A golden mead with a rim of white head. The aroma has notes of lemon, honey, wood, and honey. The flavor is sweet with notes of honey, wood, flowers, and alcohol, leading to a dry, woody, and alcoholic finish. Thanks fiulijn for sharing.
