Pours a pitch black, like oil. Small amount of dark tan, almost light brown frothy head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is quite malty. Coffee and chocolate notes along with a slight burned caramel smell. A small amount of herbal hoppiness. Taste is medium-heavy bitter and lightly sour. You can really taste the coffee in this one. Its a very strong after taste that intensifies for a bit even after you have swallowed. Full bodied with a thick, creamy texture. Average carbonation leads to a long, bitter coffee finish. Overall, this is a damn good beer. Wish I could get this every day!

Pour is black with a small white head. Aroma is roasted with some coffee showing up. Flavor is roasted malts with a dusty and dry after taste. Spot on for the style and very tasty.

A nice, quaffable Irish stout. Notes of chocolate and roasted character. This Irish is meant for session drinking as opposed to careful tasting, with a tame body, underwhelming flavors, and its smooth, nicely carbonated nature. A good bar brew.
